Maria Springer Bio:
Maria credits her love of cooking and early experiences to her family members back in Vienna. Her grandfather was a butcher and owned an Inn. Her maternal grandfather and great-grandfather were pastry bakers. Her grandmother allowed her to prepare different dishes when she was as young as 5 years. The family moved to the U.S. in 1951. She worked in Germany and Italy before marriage, but ‘retired’ to have a family. Later, Maria began to teach cooking and still does 10 years on, based in Baltimore. She specializes in Baking. |
