Culinary Editorial Producer
Susan Peters draws on her experience as a 30-year veteran of the foodservice industry to satisfy her scribaceous nature. Since 1996, she has been a feature producer for print and Internet media, serving in the capacities of writer, editor and sometimes photography stylist for her clients’ projects. She was a regular contributor to The National Culinary Review for many years; she is the past managing food editor for Flavors –The Forum For Atlanta Food Culture and Dining; and she currently serves as the food editor for New You magazine and a contributing food editor to ShowCook.com. Susan’s award-winning ability to cook French cuisine led her to France in 1986 to compete in an international contest organized by Le Figaro Magazine and the Sofitel Hotels. She spent many years as a private chef, culinary instructor and event planner before turning to the written word. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Susan is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, the Association of Food Journalists, and the Slow Food Movement. Always endeavoring to catch fish for her dinner, she can be found pole-in-hand in St. Pete Beach, Florida, and Duluth, Minnesota.
