THE OCCASION WAS AT THE IRISH CULINARY TOUR 2006 CHAMPAGNE REUNION, HELD IN CHICAGO IN APRIL 2007. JILL NORMAN (TRUSTEE OF THE ELIZABETH DAVID ESTATE) ACCEPTS THE 2005 CULINARY HALL OF FAME ACADEMY AWARD ON BEHALF OF THE LATE ELIZABETH DAVID.  THIS AWARD IS NOW IN NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, GIVEN TO STEPHEN GREY, NEPHEW OF ELIZABETH DAVID, WHO REQUESTED THAT HE BE ALLOWED TO KEEP IT.
