 Bio:

Anil Ashokan

 

Chef, restaurateur, and author, Anil Ashokan, is a graduate of the prestigious Bombay School of Catering in Mumbai, India, and has been cooking professionally for over 20 years. His career includes stints as Sous Chef at the world renowned Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, a Luxury 5-star hotel in Mumbai, India and as Executive Sous Chef at the ANA Harbour Grand Hotel, (now Shangri La Hotel) in Sydney, Australia.

 

In 2005, Anil opened Qmin Indian Cuisine, http://www.qmin.com.au/  - a fine dining restaurant  which represents the culmination of Anil's abiding love affair with Indian cuisine.

 

In his spare time, Anil writes for his weblog, dabbles in calligraphy, and dreams about his next venture. Anil has lived for nearly two decades in Sydney, Australia and is with his wife and their two children.
