Parisa wrote and published two books in 2007 and 2008. She entered both books in the Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon Awards Program 2008. In previous years, Parisa entered her first book twice. ‘Recipes from the Heart’ won Self Published in 2005, and Book ‘Cover & Title’ in 2006.  In 2005, Parisa informed Cordon d’ Or that she planned a Trilogy: Recipes for the Body…. Recipes for the Mind…. Recipes for the Spirit. This is now completed. It was decided in 2008, to introduce a New  Trilogy Award, presented to a very talented and artistic writer. In 2006, Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon announced that Parisa Ambwani is the Omar Khyam of the 21st Century, and is indeed a Philosopher in the Kitchen.
