• LITERARY CULINARY BOOK |
There are two categories in the Literary Cookbook Section. Photography, Line Drawings and some Recipes acceptable in the books submitted into the Awards Program. |

• ILLUSTRATED COOKBOOK |
Unless the author has also done their own photography where it can be considered a single entry, this is otherwise either a group entry or triple entry. ( author & photographer/artist), or two authors & photographer/artist, or author, photographer/artist & food stylist) Cookbooks entered for this Award must include a wide selection of Recipes, with Photographs and/or Illustrations - Line Drawings. Send two copies of your Food Demonstration on a DVD or VHS Video Tape. The DVD or VHS Video Tape must have been made between 2000 - 2007. Maximum time permitted - One hour for the demonstration. Prepare and present an Entrée and a Dessert for two people. (Pre-preparation of ingredients allowed.) Remember to mention the ingredients and quantities being used. Include your bio/s with the entry form/s. Open to Culinary Professionals. Single Entry * or Group Entry ** - 2 people |
• CULINARY MASTERPIECE NEW |
WHY NOT PUT YOUR ARTISTIC CULINARY TALENTS TO WORK, AND GET THE DESERVED RECOGNITION AND EXPOSURE FOR YOUR ARTISTIC CULINARY ABILITIES. PREPARE A FAVORITE ATTRACTIVE MAIN COURSE OR DESSERT THEN, SET UP THE FOOD IN A PRESENTATION THAT IN TURN CREATES A CULINARY MASTERPIECE, AND GIVE THE PRESENTATION A TITLE. The Culinary Masterpiece Painting Entry can be a Single Entry if the Artist decides to photograph the painting and enter the photograph. Or it can be a double entry if the Artist includes a Photographer into the Entry. |
• CULINARY WEB SITE |
Submit the full address of the Web site, with a bio on the Entrant. Two professional references, confirming the legitimacy of your Web site related to your work in, or connected to the culinary field are required, plus full contact information on those providing references. (This may not be necessary if you are a well known personality in the culinary world.) You may enter a 2nd Web site. If so, use a second Entry form, and send an additional Entry Fee. |
• FOOD STYLIST AND/OR PHOTOGRAPHER |
Send bio/s on the Entrant/s work in the Culinary Arts field. If it is a double entry (Photographer & Food Stylist), send a color photograph (8" x 10" size) of the titled Food Presentation. If the photograph has been published, provide full details. Unpublished professional work also can be entered in this category. If it is a single entry by a Photographer, he/she can send in either a single photograph or a book featuring his/her culinary photographic work. Single * or Group ** Entry |
• CULINARY ARTICLE |
Send bio on the Entrant's work in the Culinary Arts and writing fields, plus 2 copies of the published article, with full details on the publication (magazine or newspaper). Contact information on the publication is required. * Single or ** Group Entry - Photographer |
• CULINARY NEWSLETTER |
Submit the website address of your Newsletter, together with a copy of the edition you intend to enter into the contest, along with the Contest Entry Form, fees and bio on the Entrant. We will require the names of two professional people in the culinary field who can confirm the legitimacy of your Newsletter, plus full contact information on those providing references. This may not be necessary if your Newsletter is well established in the culinary world. |
• CULINARY MAGAZINE |
Two people must submit an entry in this category. Send 2 copies of the magazine edition chosen; a short summary on the reasons for your choice; approval signature from the magazine Editor or Publisher, and your connections with the publication. |
• RECIPE - PUBLISHED |
Send bio on the Entrant's work in the Culinary Arts writing fields, plus 2 copies of the published recipe (photograph too if applicable). Name and contact details for the publication (magazine or newspaper) is required. If a photograph is involved, the option of a 2nd Entrant (photographer) included in the entry is permitted. If so, it is classified as a ** Group Entry. |
• RECIPE - UNPUBLISHED |
Unpublished recipes with a photograph of the dish, will be accepted in this Category. Send bio and other relevant information. This category is open to culinary professionals and non professionals. The option of a 2nd Entrant is permitted (photographer). If so, it is classified as a ** Group Entry. |
