CULINARY ACADEMY AWARDS

AWARDS  PROGRAM  2008

Entry  Information

ENTRY DEADLINE:  SUNDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2008

 

          

  • You may enter yourself for an Award/s, or have your Publisher or Agent nominate your entry.
  • Use a separate Entry Form for each category entered
  • Use a separate Entry Form for each Entrant in a Group category ( Co-Authors, Chef, Photographer and/or Food Stylist). Clip the Entry forms together
  • A Single * indicates a Single Entry - US$65.00  
  • A Double ** indicates a Group Entry - US$100.00
  • A Triple *** indicates three Entrants – US$135.00
  • A Quadruple **** indicates four Entrants - US$160.
  • The 'Culinary Magazine' Category – Fee: US$100.00 . Two people must submit the entry for the magazine, with written approval from the Publisher or Editor
  • The ‘Website’ Category – Fee: US$100.00. The Owner of a Website may enter it, or two people in a Company may enter their Website  with written approval from the  Owner or CEO. Submit the Website Address on the Entry Form.
  • The 'Culinary Demonstration' Category is a Group Entry** (Chef & Photographer) or a Triple Entry *** (Food Stylist or second Chef included). The Culinary Demonstration will be recorded on a DVD  or VHS tape. Fees apply as seen above.
  • The ‘Create a Culinary Masterpiece’ Category is a Group Entry ** (Chef & Photographer) or a Triple Entry *** (Food Stylist included). Go to Cornucopia and Click on the link for ‘Culinary Masterpiece’ to access information on this New Award. Fees apply as seen above.
  • The ‘Potluck’ Book can be a Single *…. Double **….Triple *** or

Quadruple **** Entry, and Fees apply according to Entry.

  • Submit two copies of the Entry Material (Book, Photograph, Article, Magazine, Food Verse, Newsletter, Recipes) together with the Entry Form/s and Fee. Contact information on the Publisher and Literary Agent is required.
  • All  Entries and Materials sent into the Contest will be thoroughly checked, and Recipes will be tested

Fees:

Checks or Bank Drafts in  US Dollars only  are made out to Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon Inc. No foreign checks accepted for payments. Should an Entrant wish to pay in Canadian dollars or other currencies, they need to notify us in advance, and we will discuss the exchange rates. Fees can be submitted through Pay Pal. Notify us at Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon, and we will make the arrangement with you.

Deadline Date for Entries:

The Deadline for receipt of Entries is Sunday November 30, 2008. Entries postmarked after that date will no be accepted. No exceptions permitted.

General:

Entries can be sent by regular surface mail. Or Entries can be sent through UPS, FedEx or DHL.  However, they will NOT deliver to a P O Box.  Please EMAIL Cordondor@aol.com for street address instructions as required.

People who need W9 tax forms may also contact us by EMAIL and the form will be sent to you.

Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon uses UPS or Fed Ex, if any items need to be sent to Entrants. Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon does not cover any costs involved. Entrants will be notified about UPS or Fed Ex costs, and the shipment will be arranged after payment is received from the Entrant.

Award Winners will be notified by February 1, 2009. The Awards Presentation will take place in Florida in the late Spring - 2009 (date to be announced). The Winners names will appear on the Cordon d’ Or – Gold Ribbon Website on February 1, 2009.

The decision on Award Winners by the Panel of Judges is final.

Award Winners in the Cordon d’Or - Gold Ribbon Cookbooks and Culinary Arts Culinary Academy Awards 2008 Program, who are unable to attend the Culinary Academy Awards Event in St. Petersburg, Florida, are requested to make arrangements for someone to represent them, and accept the Award on their behalf. Please notify us accordingly.
