CULINARY ACADEMY AWARDS

 

     Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the recent major problem that happened with our Website.  It was disabled for a week due to sabotage. However, it is now active again. In view of the delays, a decision was taken to extend the Awards Program deadline date to November 30, 2008, for Entries to the Culinary and Cookbooks, and the Culinary Arts Contest. Winners will be notified by February 1, 2009. We want to take this opportunity to thank our viewers for their patience; and thank our Web Master Dave Simmons for the excellent work he did over the last week to get the Website back together again.     

 

ACADEMY OF THE CULINARY ARTS   

     Academy of the Culinary Arts members will be notified next week of the opportunity to nominate Culinarians for the 2008 Awards in the following groups:  

Culinary Hall of Fame

Culinarian of the Year

Culinary Life Achievement

Culinary Entrpreneur

Cuisine of the Year - awarded either to a Country or Cuisine

Chef of the Year

Cooking School of the Year

 

FLORIDA - AMERICA'S CULINARY PARADISE  

     Watch for the launch of the Florida - America's Culinary Paradise NEW Website. It will be launched in early October 2008. Viewers will be able to access it directly, or through the CORNUCOPIA screen on the Cordon d' Or - Gold Ribbon Web site. The Program will introduce Four New Culinary Academy Awards that will be presented to Winners on the Florida Culinary scene:  

Restaurant of the Year

Wine and Winery of the Year

Sustainability on the Food Scene

Culinary Product produced in Florida
