Sharon Hudgins

Sharon is a world traveler, who legitimately can be called a world explorer. She has traveled and lived in over 40 countries, and written on her amazing experiences from living in a shepherd's cottage in the Scottish Highlands, to staying at a German winery on the Mosel River, or a mountain village in Spain. Sharon's work involves her in the culinary field, and her expertise extends to Food History too, in which she is extremely knowledgeable. She is an award winning author, and a food/travel writer. Throughout the years, Sharon has worked as a book editor, magazine editor, freelance journalist, magazine and newspaper columnist, media consultant, university professor, filmmaker and photographer. No small wonder that she took off with her husband on another of her travels, to Siberia. And, in time wrote a new book on her wonderful experiences in the other side of Russia. Her book The Other Side of Russia: A Slice of Life in Siberia and the Russian Far East won the ‘Potluck' non culinary Award. It is an extremely interesting book. .Sharon's resume is incredible.
